Below are maps to most of the locations we currently use. All meetings are held at The St Boniface Centre and all celebrity concerts have been at The Point, Eastleigh, though are currently moving to Turner Sims. We do try to put other concerts on around the Southampton region so that we can bring the guitar to all communities.
St Boniface Centre, Chandlers Ford
Our meetings are held upstairs in the St. Boniface Centre, Hursley Road, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, SO53 2FT
Chandlers Ford can be approached from the north, via M3 junction 12, and from the south, via M3 junction 13 or M27 junction 5
A car park is a few yards along the road from the church (see aerial view of the area) and the centre is a short walk from Chandlers Ford station
As you approach, walk to the right side of the chuch andenter through
the side door. Take the stairs immediately on the right. We meet in
the room on the first floor, immediately through the fire door.
Milner Hall, Winchester
We occasionally put on a "Young Artists Concert" here on St Peter St., Winchester, SO23 8BW. Winchester Guitar Festival also use it
Milner Hall is approached through a small arch on the side of a street and along a path for about 20 yards
The easiest parking is just a short walk away in Gordon Road. As the venue is in the town centre, it is well served by public transport
Registered charity no. 1110525
There are frequent buses from Totton and Totton railway station is about a 30 minutes walk away
Hanger Farm Arts Centre, Totton
This is a new venue for us. We use it for the first time in Sept 2011. It is on Aikman Lane, Totton, SO40 8FT (part of Totton College)
The venue is a beautifully restored barn with plenty of parking on site. Care is needed on approach for the final 2 or 3 residential streets
Turner Simms, Southampton
Our next professional concert will be held at the Turner Sims. This is a prestgious venue for quality music in Southampton, and we may have more of our future professional concerts there.
